Take The Wheel: There aren't too many positives about agreeing to be strapped to a comet, but one of the bigger ones is that Castiel at least manages to keep Jimmy asleep and unaware most of the time - so when Jimmy suddenly finds himself wrenched awake mid-battle he knows this has to be a bad sign. Caught Up In Circles: Five times Lisa Braeden met an angel of the Lord. Dean/Cas/Lisa, time travel abusing S6 AU, PG-13. Link goes to masterpost.
Terms Of Service: Winchester Auto Body has seen better days. With their father gone and Sam away at school it's all on Dean to keep the place afloat - so it's hard for him to admit he's failing. Bills are piling up and creditors are calling but Dean knows that if he could just push a little bit harder, find a few more hours in the day he could turn it around. In fact, there's a restoration job in the shop right now that would go a long way toward solving his problems. Unfortunately, the due date is the next morning and Dean knows there's not a chance in hell of him finishing on time.
But when he wakes up the next morning the car is perfect. This becomes a pattern, Dean waking up in the morning to find work he'd left undone finished overnight until his curiosity gets the better of him; he stakes out the shop one night and finally discovers the identity of his mysterious assistant: a beautiful, winged - and naked - elf calling himself Castiel. As the two of them start working together the curiosity turns to fascination and finally to something more but there are words Castiel can't say and choices he can't make - not without consequences Dean can't understand. An AU based on the fairy tale "The Elves And The Shoemaker." Written for round 3 of dc_dysptopia.
The Spirit, The Water And The Blood: ”Where did you think angels who consort with demons went when they died?" After the Leviathan walk Castiel into the water there's no miracle - he's cast down, strapped to a rack and left to rot. So of course when chance lets Dean find out he wastes no time jumping down after him. What he finds is there's no such thing as a quick and easy rescue from the Pit: your sins live in Hell and both Dean and Castiel have amassed more than their share of angry ghosts. To escape means outrunning both the monsters lurking in the dark and the ones brought in with them.
There's one extra complication: Castiel's made a promise not to escape. And even if he hadn't, he's not sure he wants to be saved. Written for spn_j2_bigbang, a sequel to Exit Wounds.
All That Is And Used To Be: Dean never even knew anyone was living in the old estate outside of town until its mysterious occupant contracts his shop for a very specific job: a custom piano bench with grooves cut into the back. He finds Castiel and his terms to be eccentric with a capital E but the money is too good to turn down and anyway, Dean can't help indulging his curiosity about the guy and his secretive, isolated life.
