Thoughts on having a yard. . .
Though I've always liked plants and visiting gardens, I've never been a big fan of yard work. Three day weekends means that all sorts of magical things happen. I got acquainted with a hedge trimmer. More furniture and art decisions were made. And most importantly. . . the last major painting project is complete! For your viewing enjoyment, more before and after pics.

One week
Tonight is the one week anniversary of sleeping in the house. It's been quite a week (I hate the swine flu, but that's another post), but I must admit that I love my house even more now that I'm in it. A few photos to share and a list of things I'm absolutely love about this place.

Counter love. . .
Is it wrong to continually stroke your brand new countertops? And dream of the day when you finally get to cook in your shiny new kitchen? And have your heart continually pitter-pat as you see it all come together? Because that is exactly what's been happening to me the last few days.
