[Forward dated to Wednesday evening.]
---I've been traveling by foot for the past four or five days. I just dropped by Cherrygrove for a few hours' rest and some food yesterday, but there wasn't much to do there. How long does it take to get to the next city, if I've been on this road for a day and a half now

If you started a day or so ago we'll probably run into each other sometime tomorrow.

Yeah, let's go. You can ask me any questions you have about this place along the way.

Th-that's pretty much the gist of it. The manual doesn't mention some things, like how weird shit happens from time to time, like stuff out of nightmares, apparently. And it's not quite how the game used to play, but the basics are there.
[Misaki hefts Suzuki-san into an easier to carry position and continues walking along with Usami.]
Anyone else? Not that I've seen. I was alone until you came along... Oh! But I've made friends here, so I haven't been lonely or anything.

Well, I'm glad to hear you weren't lonely.. what kind of people have you met? [Nobody else, huh. That meant there was no Takahiro or Hiroki. Hm...]

I've made friends with a lot of people. There's Cocona-chan, whom you've met. Ah, also, Tamaki-san and Kanji-kun. They're highschoolers but they're both nice and cool in their own way. And Hong Kong-san. He can be... kind of weird.
There's also Kisa-chan, Miles-kun, Rika-chan. They're all kids, but have been great company. And also... [He's happy to ramble on about all his dear friends. They made this world so bearable when he grew homesick. His enthusiasm may be a little much, though.]

He just keeps listening to Misaki's happy rambling.]

...and of course there's the Pokemon too. I have four! Sunkern was my first, and then I have Furret, Beedrill and Flaaffy. They all make good friends, so even when I was traveling on my own I had them around.
We should probably get you some more Pokemon, too.

Hey! Raising Pokemon and earning badges might be the only way to get us home you know!
[He sees that thoughtful movement but he doesn't feel like asking just yet.]

[He's very serious about this.]

Look, they like battling with one another. It's not slavery or abuse if they want to.

...Besides, look at this. [He hoists up Mr. Suzuki and pokes his cheek.]
He's clearly different from those pixellated things on the game screens, isn't he? I don't think he's going to turn out to just be a mass of code that's programmed to like battling just because he's a Pokémon...

He relinquishes Suzuki-san to its owner without resistance. He misses holding that bear, though.]
W-well, I could see how you would have trouble wanting to put Suzuki-san in danger. But that's no excuse to keep yourself from training. It's just dangerous to be unprepared.
[Misaki reaches for one of his Pokeballs and presses the button to release Sunkern. She hops merrily onto her Trainer's shoulder, chirping happily.] I can handle the main battling if you want. My Pokemon don't mind.
