So yes I am still alive. Thankfully. I havn't talked to many of my friends though through a combo of a 50-60 hour work week and just being lazy. Kewl thing about the work though is that at the vet office I am now making $9 an hour just working in the kennel and soon, maybe, I will be trainning to be a vet tech. One of the techs at the office asked me if I wanted to be one. I, of course, said yes and she said she would talk to Dr. J so yeah, here's to hoping. But I really do just like being there and helping out. Also all the girls that work there are really nice, some more then others but everything is always like that.
The job at the hut still is as tiring as ever. I really have come to hate pizza working there. And I fucking hate Cheezy Bites with a passion. But I have friends there and most of the time I enjoy working so yeah. One thing that is kinda kewl and kinda sucks is that since I have worked there for over 6 months at an average of 35 hours a week then I can get full time insurance now. Yay!! I can finally go get my eyes checked out!! The thing that sucks about it is that it takes about ... $60 out of my paycheck. So yeah that kinda sucks. But the fact that I am making enough with both jobs to start a savings account finally is great.
Really, really want to move into the new apartment. Part of it is the wait, I know it is, but most of it is just wanting to have my own place again. I know that I have my own apartment you say, but ... I kinda want a new slate so to speak. I am still going to be rooming with Tate yeah but this time everything is down the middle for bills and ... well no bad memories. I have already bought crap for the kitchen, my room, and my bath room. One thing that sucks is that I am going to have to find new sheets for the bed there since the apartment comes furnished and there is no place for me or Tate to put the excess stuff. We will just be a little cramped for a while till we get used to it I guess.
Something that will fun to living there is the two, yes that is right two, cats that will be living there as well. Well, hopefully there will be two cats. I don't know about this new girl. Her name is Aglaya, which I have been told means shining, beautiful light in Greek. She was a stray at the vet office for over a month and had to have all these different surguries and such. I really just fell in love with her and bought her home when I was sure that she was not sick in anyway. She has been here for two days and well, heh, her and Jerger don't really see eye to eye. More like paw/claws to nose. The problem lies in the fact that Jerger wants to play and she doesn't... ever. So what usually happens is that when someone is in the apartment we let her out of the bathroom where she stays while no one is home (don't worry, she has her own carrier with blanket to sleep on, and her own food/water and litterbox in there). While she is out Jerger follows her around and comes right behind her like he is going to jump her, she turns and hisses and he backs off. This goes on for hours. I am hoping that within a week they will mellow out enough with each other that it is possible to not have to put her in there at night. Although I think she has now claimed the bed for her own. :-p *sigh* I hope they get along at some point, or if nothing else at least learn to tolerate each other. She is a little mouth though, if she is not happy she will let you know. Tate, you have to come by and see her.
In a couple months I will be a bridesmaid again. 3 times now. *sigh* This time it is for my cousin April. I am happy for her. *smile* I have to email her tomorrow and see if they have actually set the day yet.
But anyway, time for bed, got to get up in the morning for more fun work and such. yay... :-p Laterz.
