If you are interested in deeper stuff on this conflict, look up stuff on the Project for a New American Century (involves people like Bush and Rummsfeld etc). This war has been in the works for most of the last century. The western world has been fucking with the Middle East and oil for ages... ever since oil has been important.
There are powers at work in high places that have plans for all of this and the future. 9/11 is just a blip on the timeline of this thing, the greater realities and truths are older and more widely influential.
