SPOILERS AHOY
here are my random and mostly incoherent thoughts on this STUPID AWFUL MOVIE THAT I LOVED OKAY:
STEVE AND PEGGY
Steve's face with Peggy. Stop being such a good actor, Evans.
Steve being ACTUAL Captain America (as opposed to the government lacky / dumb and naive innocent people try to make him)
Bucky!
Bucky's face "But I knew him."
He said it he said it he said "Who the hell is Bucky"
Nick's headstone OMG I DIED. SO HARD.
It was an 80s action movie. The color palate was very 80s spy movie. The plot was very 80s spy movie.
"Shall we play a game? It's a movie -"
"I know, I saw it."
STEEEEEEEEEEEEVE! Also, effing 80s movie!!!
Arrow necklace.
Natasha continuously trying to set Steve up.
Everything Sam. EVERYTHING.
Things I didn't like:
The action sequences - not sure if it was me, or the theater, or the 3D, but they were shaky and filmed strangely and I didn't like them.
It wasn't ... as prettily filmed as the other MCU movies. I think there's more to it, narratively, as in the scenes with Shield/Hydra were outside or with a backdrop of the horizon, and scenes with Natasha, Sam, Steve, Nick tended to be closed in, literally against obstacles or walls. But...it still wasn't as pretty.
