I'm actually writing. It...feels good, after all this time.
...so of course, it's practically the first time I've written anything in months, and what's the first thing I'm working on? Of course it can't be one of my already existing fics. Of course it has to be something completely new, although it's an idea I've had for months.

Like most great things in life (and many of questionable greatness), it started with a bang.
...and no, not the kind you're thinking of, you pervs. A gunshot.
The aforementioned bang (of the nonsexual variety!) was followed, unexpectedly, by a sardonic laugh. “You missed.”
“It was a warning shot!”
“Warning me of what? That you have piss-poor aim?”
“God damn it, you... Either get out of my way...” The gunman - gunwoman, rather - shifted the weapon to the laughing woman's temple. She sobered...a little, anyway. “Or give me one good reason not to shoot. And I won't miss this time.”
The laughing lady resumed laughing. “Such a mess of clichés.”
The gun clicked. “I'm waiting.”
Once again, the laughing stopped. Instead, the woman moved an index finger to press lightly against her bottom lip, as if in thought. “A reason, hmm? How about information?”
A quirked eyebrow. “About?”
“Anything and everything your little terrorist brain has ever dreamed of and more.”
“...bitch.”

Her lips curled into a small smirk. “And so it begins.”

Ohgod, I know I've made fun of them in the past, but I'm listening to Evanescence. jslsjal I'm not about to claim they're the bestest badn evur!1one, but the singer has a pretty voice, and piano + hard guitars makes me happy. [/dork]
l-lol, on a similar note, and for similar reasons, I'm addicted to Within Temptation now. I'd heard a couple of their songs before through AMVs, but man. I love it. And jeez, I wear mostly black/red, and I have a fucking black sweatband/wristband thing like cutters wear. (IN MY DEFENSE, IT HAS ZERO ON IT. FUCK YEAH. [/fail]) I feel like I'm turning into a stupid idek emo/posergoth or something.
This song is jlsjlaj pretty, though. It makes me think of Kallen, like. Post-series, but before the epilogue, sob. [/TRYING TO BE A GOOD GIRL AND NOT SPOIL ANYONE, EVEN THOUGH WHO THE FUCK IS STILL UNSPOILED FOR CODE GEASS?]

I'M FINALLY PLAYING PHOENIX WRIGHT. I'm like. On the fourth part of 1-4. CONVOLUTED PLOT IS CONVOLUTED, and lolol the investigation stuff is totally unrealistic, but I love the characters so much. Besides, I like convoluted plots. (lol Geass.)
I DON'T REALLY LIKE THE PARTS WHERE IT MAKES YOU GATHER EVIDENCE, THOUGH. It's probably because I'm stupid, but like. Those are the only parts I get stuck on and need to look at a FAQ. I can get through the court cases just fine, but the moment it makes me do investigative work, WHERE THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO GO AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH
I'm also addicted the Code Geass R2 DS game because lol crack EVEN THOUGH I STILL SUCK AT GETTING ANY DECENT ENDINGS ON ADVENTURE MODE. I mostly just play a random game in the minigame gallery for like HOURS ON END. Euphie's minigame is so fucking cute, but it reminds me why I don't play a lot of sidescroller-type games: I SUCK. I have like no coordination, and I've died so many stupid deaths, idek. STUPID HOLES IN THE FLOOR agh those things are my enemy.
