Hey all and few,

I've now lived in Calgary for three weeks! So far I like it. Everything was grey and brown when we got here but now everything is getting green and summery. And it's so warm! It's been in the mid-high twenties for the last few days, I had to get myself to the mall and buy some shorts!

Your place looks so great! I love that it is an old farmhouse :-)
I'm so glad you are happy with your new home. & Your nephew looks adorable in his little cardi! Well, he I'm sure he always looks adorable, but the cardi is especially nice on him :-)

Thanks! I love it too :) we actually got the option to switch to a newer apartment two blocks away a few days after we'd moved in, but we declined because we liked the place so much, even though it most likely has some electrical and plumbing problems... plus, the other place was in a basement, and more expensive, although it was definitely fancier.

and I get to see my nephew in a few weeks and then I'll know for sure how adorable he is! I'm so excited!!

Oooh! Love the place! I'm jealous of your kitchen - counterspace and a window!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the update! Glad to hear that things are well!

I know, I love my kitchen. The only downside is that the kitchen only shows us the side of the house next door - and, indeed, their door, where the occupants frequently stand and converse loudly... but hey, no place is perfect!
