 picked up Batman No Mans Land volume one (yeah i know, im late, screw it,  hated batman for years, im OK with the guy now.. Aqua man is still on my beat in an alley with a wrench list though.)

Three different Fear Itself comics- these are pretty good so far. I like how they parallel real world events, but some of the writing to fill in the back

I can't help you with Japan, but honestly, if you go to Vegas, I recommend spending only a couple of days actually *in* Vegas and most of your time touring Death Valley. You'll spend less money and have a much better time.

I suggest arriving and spending two days and nights in Vegas and then renting a 4WD and going to Death Valley for 4 days, with your last day/night back in Vegas before your flight.

Death Valley has one ritzy hotel with a golf course and two mid-range hotels, one of which has some cabin-type accomodations and a campsite as well. There are many scattered campsites with various designations for tents vs. RVs. So staying there does not necessitate a 'camping trip'.

If you're going Friday-Sunday then you can do either LV or DV, but not both. In any case you'd fly through the LV airport
