When I was in high school and did my final exams (5 years ago now) my 'main' artist that I focused on in my art history/art world exam was Kahlo. She is by far an amazing artist. Have you ever watched the film of her life?? Or looked at a few of her other paintings?? Her work is amazing and beautiful. Just by how she does it, what she has lived through, and how she really puts it across in her work.

She is one of my favorite artists!

I took a sociology class in college and we talked for weeks(seriously) about Frida. We did watch a film about her life and I found it very interesting, her relationship with Diego was very facinating to me. Im not a fan of her self portraits but I do like her other paintings.

I've always adored that painting and artist, and since my losses, I adore it more than I can express.

I don't think I've seen *any* painting about miscarriage/infertility. Great painting - thanks to the OP for posting it.

Oh yes, I have always loved this piece! It made me feel I understood something of the experience of miscarriage before I had ever had one of my own.
