I've been up for almost 2 hours. Surgery is at 11am. Have to be in at 9:30 for prep and paperwork and other BS. I'm also 'fasting'. I feel kinda yucky todnight. Sluggish even. Went to bed around 3:30 this morning and slept until 6pm-ish. I was so hot, I could not wake up. Ok! So, I didn't go *straight* to bed. I decided to switch up my LJ some more. I needed a change of scenery as well as a change of color. Hope you dig it as much as I do!

I'm feeling quite a bit better today. My head isn't ready to explode, my throat doesn't hurt as bad, and I'm not boiling anymore. More of a slow simmer. =D Seriously tho, I'm back to normal temp and feeling a lot better. The sore throat is still there. Almost everything hurts when I swallow. Maybe it's because I'm sick or something, but I've noticed that I'm actually starting to like pink. -gag- I've never been a girly girl. Fuscia is cool, maroon, red, etc. I've just never liked pink. Well, I'm home now. I miss Nick already. I'll be happy to be home and to get back into the routine of work and such, but it's still not the same. I felt like a mom again for a short time, and now that semi-empty feeling is back. I guess I'll just have to keep myself busy. Not much else to say.
