Going Back to England: Fourth Trip To England [Day 03]
Today was pretty busy! We slept until a little after nine and then Nic got a text from Sarah saying she wasn't working today. So we decided to take her along with us to Meadowhall! We went to pick her up from her house and I finally got to see it for the first time (she was in the process of moving on my previous trip out there). It's gorgeous and three stories high! I also got to see all of her rats again, haha! On the way to the mall PBo called as he was on his lunch break so I talked to him for a bit! :D Once we got to the mall I went to Lush to get a gift card for my friend Wendy (I would have gotten one here, but I doubt it would work in the Lush stores in England, haha!) I did a damn good job at not tempting myself with buying anything for myself and let me tell you, it is not easy! They recently got a soft pretzel stand in Meadowhall, so, of course I just had to try it out! I got this HUGE parmesan one, the cheese wasn't too strong but it was still really good! We went to Boots and I got semi-permanent ginger hair dye so I can be Amy Pond! :) After that I went to another drug store as I needed concealer really bad. I'm lucky and don't break out all that often, but of course I look like a freaking planet when I get to England! :| We planned on going to Chillangos but they closed down without much warning! :( I wasn't really in the mood for anything else, so when Sarah and Nic went to go get food, I spoke to my dad on the phone!
Once they were done eating we dropped Sarah back off at her house and then went home to watch the first ever episode of Doctor Who! :D Her dad had gotten home by then and surprised me by getting Quorn Scotch Eggs, I asked him to try one and he said they tasted like the real thing. And let me tell you, they were SO DAMN GOOD. I really wish they would sell them here! :( After we watched the first episode we decided it was time to get ready. But I so couldn't be bothered to do much with my hair, so while I got ready I spoke to my sister on Skype. We got to the wedding reception about an hour late, but it didn't seem to make too much of a difference as others were still showing up. Sarah, the bride, was so sweet to all of us! She treated me like she knew me and gave me hugs as well! :D Nic and I got ourselves some WKDs and then the buffet opened. Many Peter Kay jokes happened during this time! LMAO We goofed off a lot (just got a tad bit tipsy, I swear :)). When we got back home we started packing for our trip to London! :D
