Going Back to England: Fourth Trip To England [Day 15]
I got up early, again! Mainly because I had an early night and really can't sleep past eight or nine in the morning. But, luckily, George was home so I had someone to talk to while Nic slept! My dad then called (he was up early for work) so I spoke to him for a bit and unsurprisingly, my sister was also up. It was nice talking to them! Especially as I was feeling a bit home sick. By the time that Nic got up it was still raining and generally crappy out. But we had heard that the rain would be on and off and decided to go up to High Bradfield as it wasn't too far from her house! I've been there before and it's just absolutely gorgeous! You can see for miles (well, when it isn't foggy and raining out) and it's just the perfect spot for pictures. It wasn't raining when we first got up there, but when we headed towards the church and cemetery it started getting windy and rainy again. It was just perfect for the mood and I got some really awesome photos up there!
The weather really started taking a turn for the worse, so we decided to head back down to her house and watch Doctor Who while we ate lunch. Once the episode was over it was looking sunny out, so we decided to go out to get ice cream. No joke, as soon as we got in the car it started raining again! But there's a place inside to eat ice cream and I really wanted some, so we went anyway. As we were walking towards the little building to get ice cream I heard the cutest little 'moo' coming from one of the shelters for the cows. And a calf was sticking it's head out looking at us! Of course I had to go over and see them and we could even pet them! There were three baby cows in there and I was absolutely in love! One kept licking my hand (apparently it was around the time they ate, so my arm must have been pretty tasty!) Of course I washed my hands before we went inside to get ice cream. I got forrero rocher, bakewell tart and bounty this time and it was soooo good!
Since I was still craving burritos from the other day (when we found out Chilango's had closed down) we decided to have some for dinner and boy did it hit the spot! Haha! After we ate dinner, Nic and I watched Due Date and I just loved it! Haha :D
