Going Back to England: Fourth Trip To England [Day 18]

Aug 13, 2011 14:47

I had tossed and turned a bit over the night, but managed to sleep pretty well! I got up fairly early, but stayed in bed until I heard someone moving around downstairs. Once I was ready, I went down and spent some time with Wendy's mom and Flossie while we waited for Wendy to get up. We went to another nice shopping area and I had my first pub breakfast which was really yummy! We walked around for a bit and Wendy's mom got me a nice, huge doughnut to eat on the train ride back to London. It was great being around people that love dogs as we were all gushing over some dogs that we saw being walked around! Hee hee. :D I had to say goodbye to them soon after, they are such a wonderful family! :)

On the train ride back to Victoria Station I met a nice woman that I talked to, but she got off a few stops later. It was such a nice warm day out and so relaxing on the train, I was half tempted to fall asleep! I had some time to kill when I got back to St. Pancras and was lucky enough to score a seat in there as there isn't many! I texted Wendy and Nic for a bit and called my mom just to let her know I had made it back to the train station ok. Since it was the weekend, first class on the train is a lot cheaper and so I opted for a first class seat. I even got free wifi! So I went on yahoo and chatted to a few of my friends on the way back. When I got back to Sheffield we had some dinner and then headed to Sarah's house where I discovered her boyfriend likes to hear about paranormal stuff. Nic and Sarah don't, so the two of us sat in the kitchen and talked for over an hour! Haha! It was the last time I would see Sarah so I gave her a big hug and then we headed back to Nic's house.
