Went to the Pediatric Eye Doctor today. Kasey needs to be wearing glasses. He needs to wear them whenever he focuses on anything. Books, TV, Video games. He doesn't have to wear them when he's running around, playing, or even sports

While we happened to get K's at our eye doc's (because they has SUCH a good deal) - as long as you get some kind of replacement warranty, I can't imagine it matters *where* you get them as long as you have reason to believe they'll be around to replace the glasses when they get lost.
I'd check out Lenscrafters and Pearl Vision - both have been around for awhile and should have decent prices. Both will take the prescriptions from you doc.
I got my glasses at LensCrafters -- they take most insurance and it's hassle-free. They said as long as I owned my glasses they'd adjust them -- you might want to ask them if they have any special policies on children's glasses.
If you have to pay out of pocket, Costco is the best place to go (but they don't take insurance).
