Saturday was a very nice, very good Saturday, even though it wasn't a perfect Saturday. Get a tube of Neosporin and apply it to the cuts, even after they start healing. It really helps in keeping cuts from scarring too badly -- and I scar very easily. (I have a scar on my leg from an injury I sustained while mopping the floor.)

It's good you have a sweet boy like Garren around. I hope your face feels better! <3

Thank you, dear! Indeed, I was very lucky that night... he could have totally been a monster and been like, "it's 4 am what are you doing here?!?" But he's not.

And that's a good tip about the Neosporin! I'll see if I can pick some up after work... the stuff I have is white, too, so it kind of crusts over which is gross in the morning.

Hehehehe. Everytime someone asked me at work what happened, I wanted to retort, "Alpha," but no one here would get it.

A good smack in the nose always hurts like hell and makes your eyes water- that's why in self-defense courses they teach you to go for the nose first when you're hitting someone in the face.

Eat some papaya- it helps reduce bruising.

Although, this is definitely a Mayhem-worthy episode of household chaos. Here, have some fluffy cat pictures.

I'm pretty sure #1 was why I was convinced I was going to die all night long.

Thank you for the papaya tip! And the fluffy cats. *nod*

I was a bio major raised by medical workers before I turned to engineering, remember? ;) The nasal and ocular area are stuffed full of capillaries which take almost nothing to rupture. Ask anyone who's broken their nose before if they didn't have a shiner or two the next day.
