Your "nice guy" is my "loser" anonymous April 13 2005, 22:17:36 UTC
Okay, to start off, I consider myself a nice guy. And some of the sentiments in the post are true enough... But then the post just rambles on to the point of the "nice guy" just being a desperate loser who just wants a girl, but can't seem to get one. The "nice guy" has to be in it as its own reward, and not that there will be "well-deserved vindication" in the end. If you're going to be nice to a girl, be nice to a girl because she's a person, and not just because you want to sleep with her (even though you know you have no chance). This "nice guy" as described is indeed a walk-all-over-him type. He should learn to be a real man.

I like your comments, my exact view on the article is that there some guys who always do what they consider to be the "nice" thing. I saw this article as an interesting explanation that most of the time in this world you are not rewarded for helping others, playing fair, or doing the correct thing.

Yet, as you state being nice should be its own reward without any underlying motive.
