[Now that the spiders are gone, Bryn is wandering out and about, exploring the Keep building layouts and trying to get a better handle on where everything is.
It's when she turns the corner that she sees Nick running in her direction. He's running like his ass is on fire, and Bryn's eyes widen as she calls out to him.]
[Bryn can't just let him go because she knows she hasn't lied to him, and it's clear he's upset. She reaches out, trying to catch him by the hem of his shirt.
The look she gives him is pleading.]
Please, I swear, I haven't lied to you or anything. What is it I'm supposed to have done?
[Thinking he's speaking of how she grabbed his shirt, Bryn balls her hands into fists a moment and hides them behind her back, but she doesn't back away.
She has to understand. He has to tell her what it is that she's supposed to feel bad about. She has to know so she can do better. Be better.]
I'm sorry, I'm not trying to keep you here but...you can't just accuse me of something and not explain. Please just tell me.
[Bryn flinches, backing up and shaking her head, over and over again. Her voice gets louder, desperate.]
No, no, I swear I'm not--I would never do something like that...Never ever...I swear, I'm not...
[But he doesn't appear to be listening to her, and there's no way that she can trust him now...to explain that really, she is a monster. Whatever this place was that he was thinking of, it wouldn't be anywhere she would go. Not willingly.]

H-hey, is everything okay?

Lied to you? About what?

I am branded. You-you said it was gone!
[He looks ready to turn tail and run.]

Nick I...I'm sorry, I don't know what you're talking about, and I certainly had nothing to do with that.
[She's trying to keep her voice clear and strong but it wavers and breaks toward the end.]

[He turns to go the other way. Whatever she has to say? He really doesn't want to hear it.]

This is a Facility, hm? You said my world was gone. That is lie.
[He said he would never go back there. And here he was. The thought makes him run. He's got to get out of here.]

[She shrinks back a bit, clearly uncertain.]
What is a facility...in your world?

[He stops, whirls around and glares at her.]
They take people and experiment on them and turn them into monsters, hm? Terrible people who do terrible things.
[And he was one of them. He exhales and keeps walking down the hall. He doesn't want to talk about it anymore.]
