Hurricane and the school day

Today was our first day back at school since the storm hit last Monday. The kids where whinny, clingy and lazy. But hey, I don't expect special needs kids to react well to a major natural disaster

wow, that sounds like an exciting day! (week, really!)

you're not a bad mother...but you know that. i feel guilty when i leave miles at daycare when i'm SICK. why? why all the guilt???

we should be nicer to ourselves.
