[The video feed clicks on, but all that can be seen at first is a (possibly quite familiar) sailor hat. Then a fairy of a deep sea-green color flits across the view.]

How do I work this? Hey- shoo! You're getting in the way, you know.

[Now have a close up of the left side of Murasa's face and the Vatheon mark below her eye as she brings the SFC ( Read more... )

[ Blinking, he chuckles a bit, assuming she means the fairy, like his own purple one, bobbing nearby. ]

Sorry to say that the fairy is Vatheon-standard, Fräulein. It's going to be bothering you for awhile; it seems all of us foreigners have one. Honestly, I've not the slightest clue why; you should go ask your kidnappers that. Can't get rid of them.

[Her fairy flies across the camera view again, as if on cue]

They're real cute and all, but I don't much like not knowing what they're for.

[she taps the small SFC camera; giant fingerprint!]

What if they're spies for whoever took us here, for instance?

[ ... He laughs at the fairy flitting across the camera. ]

It's a possibility, that's for sure. Though, personally, I think Plum here is a nice accent piece, ja? Definitely unusual, but they're hardly that bad. We might be stuck here, but I doubt these little guys are doing anything all that nefarious.

Just seems like another thing to worry about, even if they don't talk or try to sneak attack.

[a pause]

You named yours?

[She....she won't be complaining.....]

It's just a toilet, Hijiri......and Ichirin asked me to get rid of it. She said that two of these things were an unnecessary luxury.

There's two in- [she doesn't really want to call it "her" house...] -in this house, and my friend says that two are too many. She's really pious- anything too "luxurious" is a big no-no.

Believe me, I'd keep it if I could.

Well if there are two then you should at least keep one? If they are in different rooms then that is probably how the house is set up so I wouldn't move it.

Yeah, we're keeping one. [disgruntled mumbling....] See, that was my thoughts, but she's really stubborn. I had to agree to get rid of one just to keep her from camping outside.

I rather like toilets, can I have it?

Can you carry it away without flooding the bathroom somehow?

I can try!

Why on Earth would you want to get rid of the toilet?

I want to keep it- it's a nice toilet! But my crewmate thinks that having two toilets is excessively wasteful or something.

I...I see.

But isn't removing it just as wasteful?

Case in point, sir! The problem is that I don't think there's anyone on land or sea who's half as stubborn as her about these things.
