hey.
Does anyone know how to change your layouts on LJ?? cz i found a realy really cute layout, and I have no diea how to change it...and i have the free acount thing, so can I not change it??? do I have to use their layouts??? If someone can tell me how, i`d really appreciate it. thanks loves.

Do you have the code for the layout? If you do have the code, then you'll want to copy it. Go to that menu thing at the top of the screen and then go to mangage and then customize. If on that page it says "New System(S2)," You should change it to "Old System(S1)." Then click "Modify Journal." If you scroll down a bit there will be a text box thingy that says "over rides." Paste the code for the layout into that. Then go to the bottom of the page and click "save changes." If you don't have the code for the layout, you should ask the person. Its all typed in Html and it is really confusing. I could never figure out how to do html so I just have an lj friend type it for me to use. If you understand html, then you can type the codes in that over ride box. Hope that helps.

It didn`t work, like idk how to use it. I got the thing, html w/e..i think, and i put it in it, and it just made my lj background what I first had it is..al balck, and this one was white and blue, and it`s not working!! Idk anyone who knowns how to do the html thing.

I can do it for me if u give me ur password and the html. You can change ur password for me to use and then change it back when I'm finished. I have like a basic knowldege of html. If u dont want to do that its cool but if u do u can tell be the colors u want for ur words and links and whatnot and ill try to figure it out for u.
