I was just going over various recipes from Frank Davis, namely the traditional New Orleans New Years menu, and a huge wave of homesickness washed over me. While moving away in 2001 has improved my life in a variety of ways.. I can't say that I am any closer to attaining peace. I wonder if this is something I will have to meet head-on by going

As they say, you can't go home again. That has been true for me, however, a nice visit might be enough to shake off that homesickness. Going home always makes me thankful I left!

Perhaps some good LA cookin' might cheer you up? Those recipes sound deelish!

i don't think i'll ever be over homesickness. (even when i am confronted with all the horrid stuff as soon as i get there to visit too..)

but i *like* it here. it's better for my son.
