Making sure she looked perfect, not a hint of weakness or perspiration-Monet climbed up and shut the door behind her firmly as if she could block out the cold inside of her. Whilst she feld cold, so cold, she was in fact burning up though that was quite easily disguised by her flushed cheeks from the walk over.
"No, strangely enough Roy wasn't who I was looking for." Monet said stiffly, looking at him pointedly.

Sliding his arm around her waist, he pulls her through the door and closes it behind her. "Wouldn't want to let the chill in," he teases her, then presses a soft kiss to her forehead. "What's got you in a--"
Hot. Burning up. He lifts his hand to cup her cheek and frowns. "Why didn't you tell me you were sick?"
if she wouldn't have let him get close enough to touch her, I can break up the tag and go a different direction. He's not likely to yell at her if he knows she's sick, except for being stupid enough to get sick, which is fine with me.
