You say that the pros are superficial and the cons are more substantial. Except that you've got a place to stay and the financial support to pay for moving back, which kind of negate or mitigate the cons of no job and having someone supporting you until you get a job. You're not living like a leech if you're looking for a job, even if it does take a while to find a job. And the classes can be taken again in Wisconsin. You haven't lost the knowledge, you can retake the classes and be in the same place. You might be out a bit of money in the long run, but that's how things go sometimes.
The pros aren't superficial. They may be unquantifiable, but they're all important to you, in an emotional and visceral way. They're good for your peace of mind and happiness, which is more important for you in the long run.
I have to agree with Greenmansgrove. In terms of finance, I COMPLETELY understand about having no job, and having to spend the additional time and money for re-taking courses all over again up in WI.
However, my experience of packing up my life & moving three states away says that home is where you're happy, accepted, and loved.
Jobs may not be as plentiful as manna from heaven, but they CAN be found. Classes can be re-taken.
If you have a chance to be in a place where you feel like you're home, like you belong, then what larger happiness is there?
