I am a bit bummed today. Tomorrow I am moving cubicles again. This time it is across the hall and in a different room. I kind of like being where I am at because only a couple of us from our department are over here and you feel like you have some freedom. No bosses, no gossip, just the four of us and a bunch of Engineers. I am moving diagonal from ( Read more... )

Glad this week is going to be easier! Hopefully moving cubicles will be a move for the better! I am with you on the older I get, the more unsociable I am. I do enjoy being with other people. But I so hate making my the effort.

It is hard making the time with 3 little ones, that's for sure. I think I'll just try to go to the next thing they have. This week just isn't going to be good expecially with me being sick.

Sorry you have to move again, that stuff makes me crazy too.

I never have time to be social. I always feel bad but my family is my focus, and that's okay ;)

Yeah, my family is my focus too. NOne of the girls here have small kids. Well, one does but she only has one girl that is 6. I try to be social while I am at work. That's the best I can do with 3 little ones at home!

Hey.. I hate to hear it that they moved you Again!! That really sucks. But, about the Mary-Kay thing, I probably wouldn't really want to go either, since there would be people you don't know there. But, I'd really think about it being with the people you do know. And I woudln't want to give anyone the impression that you'll say no to anything away from work. I'd try to keep the lines open. For future things.

Take care this week!!!!!!!!!

I'm just not a big Mary Kay person anyways. Plus, the woman who is having it lives quite a bit aways. Who knows when I'll get home... Oh wel, maybe the next time one of them has a get together and it is closer...

I've never been a fan of Mary Kay. I like Avon myself. Well, not most of the makeup. Simple stuff like foundation, I like to get at everyday stores that sell Maybelline, etc. so I know if I run out, I don't have to wait and order it. But I do get mascara, etc. from Avon.

Since it's quite a distance from you, I'd let them know that's your main reasoning and they'd understand and still include you next time when something's closer. : )
