Such a Relaxing Weekend

Oct 11, 2004 08:35

Well, the weekend is over already but I got lots of rest and my husband home (although at times I questioned why I wanted him home. ha). Friday I had to have my mom go pick up Brock at Kindergarten. They called and said he was in the clinic with a fever. He ended up running a fever all weekend off and on and has this awful cough. Infact, Saturday ( Read more... )

So did you get an offer on the house? I think I saw it in the paper this weekend on the back of the realty section. That is my favorite section for some reason, I read it front to back. Maybe because I want to move so bad =)

That was sweet about the CD! I had to sit here and think what the song they played during our wedding dance was. It was the Aerosmith version of that song from Armageddon. Can't remember the name. We're going to celebrate 6 years soon. Where does time go? **Sigh** At least Ben was trying to make it up to you and make you feel better.

I hope Brock feels better soon and Hayden doesn't get it!

No, no offer yet. Which I am happy about because we don't have a signed contract yet. Ben and I jumped the gun a little to get things going thinking this would of been done by now. So if someone does make an offer, what the hell am I suppose to do? We have had 5 people look through our house and another showing tonight. Sorry, these are the questions I hammer at Ben to get him to ask better questions to his bosses.

I thought the CD thing was sweet too. It's the fact that he thought of it himself and I didn't have to say, "Here is what I want." lol.

Brock had to miss Kindergarten today and is still at moms. I don't understand why he can't shake this. He has been sick since Friday!

That's sweet that your hubby thought of that - maybe to make up for all of the partying LOL. My husband is not that sentimental though, so when he does things out of the blue, it's like ok - what do you want? a new video game? new computer hardware? Hope the Brock feels better. I hate it when the kids get sick - you feel bad because you can't fix it.

My husband is never sentimental so you can imagine my surprise! It's probably one of the nicest things he has ever thought of on his own. lol
Brock is getting better. My poor little guy has been battling Bronchitus and is up at night crying because he can't stop coughing. I have felt so bad for him. Hopefully he'll make it through today and I won't get a call to come get him.

I'm glad you got a weekend where Ben took charge of the kids and he let you sleep in! It was so sweet of him to get the CD for you. I don't think Kev would think of something like that. Even though the last time he went on a week long fishing trip in Canada, he got me this expensive perfume that you couldn't get in the states at the time ( ... )

Yeah, I was surprised Ben thought of that on his own. Hell, I would take the expensive perfume in a heart beat too though! lol

I knew Brock didn't feel good but to hear him say he hated Art day and didn't want to go to school anyway was kinda funny. They are getting too smart! Today he told me he is allowed to make his own decisions. I told him not till he is 18. He told me he is his own person and can make his own decisions. It's like where does he hear this stuff?
