My cats got into a fight yesterday! Don't know why, really. Thankfully, both seem to be without serious injury. Mom and I have been doing jigsaw puzzles. Not the usual kind, but mystery puzzles. Rather interesting. There's a story, usually a murder and the solution is in the finished picture. So, naturally, there is not a completed picture on the box. I rather like the idea of putting together the puzzle without really knowing what the completed picture ( Read more... )

Well, we received an e-mail from the Flying Saucer telling us that they've made their decision and they've booked another band for St. Pat's.

And October Country got the booking for City Streets. YaY for them. Really. I am glad they got a gig for St. Pat's.

And I'm bummed about that Spriggan didn't get either. Back to square one.

I'm browsing on-line for job possibilities when my on-line pager flashes a message from typsygypsy. A moment latter it pops up again, this time from youngraven. Coincidence? Hmmn. Maybe not. Let's give a listen shall we?

I talked with Burlington yesterday. The Area Manager told me he had spoken briefly with the Store Manager about me and was intending to talk more about me after the Store Manager got out of her meeting.
