Anyone who wants to amend the constitution to take away rights (the exact opposite to what the constitution is for) needs to stop and realize that if it is possible to "destroy the sanctity of marriage", heterosexuals had already done a very thorough job of that quite some time ago.

No kidding. My folks divorced last year after 28 years of marriage. Honestly, it's the rising divorce rate that devalues the "sanctity" of marriage...
