It hadn't bothered Winry too much that Izuru had told her he couldn't see her that day. At first, of course, she had been a little annoyed, but after a quick explanation that something had happened with Momo and Kankuro she knew it wasn't something she should complain about. He was being a good friend and spending time with Momo when she needed him. Winry had thought about stopping by to see them, Momo's apartment wasn't that far from hers after all, but she'd decided against it. She would let them have their day and she'd call Izuru tomorrow.
She wouldn't say she wasn't bored, however, and without anything to do she'd spent the afternoon on her computer trying to find a nearby mechanic that had a job opening. After being unsuccessful for nearly three hours, she gave up and settled for watching movies in the living room. She supposed she could have gone to the beach or done something that would get her out of her apartment and into the sun, but she wasn't one that really enjoyed doing things on her own. Besides, at this point, she'd already gotten so used to Izuru accompanying her to the beach. Thinking of that just as she'd finished one movie, she glanced at her cell phone and noticed an alert for a text message from Izuru. After she'd responded to the short text, he was over at Momo's and the girl was absolutely distraught, it hadn't taken her long to fall asleep on the couch with a second movie playing.
