just saw a commercial from Outback Steakhouse where they are offering free Bloomin Onions for vets. it's a nice gesture but seems wildly inadequate - thanks for defending our country, here is a fried treat destined to make you feel sick the rest of the night. how about offering them a discount on their meals instead

I felt the exact same way when I heard a commercial on the radio. I also thought, "Huh, I wonder if Matt knows about this? He loves deep fried food."
