Making a reference point to the quote will not win you the prize. Although that gets you closer. I want to know exactly where it is from. I don't really expect anyone on this to get it, since none of my friends were raised like a religious fanatic. It has religious conotation - that should be hint enough.

I know "mea" or "me" is "my"--- I think (this is from the limited amount of Latin work I did when I tried to read through Meditations...). And "culpa" is "blame" or "fault." "Maxime" means "particularly" or "exclusively," but I dunno about this "maxima." So --- if this is even Latin, then it should read something like "my fault, all my fault..." but I dunno what that has to do with anything. Although in Portugese, "culpa" is guilt and I know the language came from Latin so maybe my Latin is a little off. So the statement could be something about you feeling "guitly"--- as in "my guilt, all my guilt." So, you're part Catholic, and so it's definitely Latin, and it has to do with guilt. So I bet you say this in church, or some old tradition that is or isn't still kickin' dictates that you say it in church or maybe in a confessional....
