Naproxen. Ugh. See if your doctor can just change your script to Ibuprofen. My mom was on the Naprocen for arthritis for a little bit. It tears holes in your stomach. Ibuprofen is bad enough, but at least it won't automatically destroy you. And it does just as much to help as Naproxen.
You know, when I was pregnant, my biggest fear was the epidural. That thing is HUGE. A big huge needle that they're sticking into my spine. Not okay. But it didn't hurt that much. It may have been because I just wanted all the other hurt to stop, but most of the people I know who had it done thought it was much less painful then they'd built it up to be.
Why do they need to do that anyway? Are they now thinking that they're wrong about Lyme's? Or that there's something else on top of it? And why the fuck is everyone so unhealthy?!
They can give you a script for 600mgs of Ibuprofen. That's what my mom used to replace the Naproxen. There is a woman I work with who ended up in the hospital having multiple corrective surgeries because the Naproxen tore holes in her stomach. And she only took THREE pills. Three. It's not even like she was on it for months and months... THREE PILLS. Now, that's rare and there was probably some other circumstance involved, but still. Even Ibuprofen can cause stomach ulcers, but at least it's not as bad/fast as the Naproxen
( ... )
Really? I didn't know that. My neurologist was just like, "Hands shaking!? Just take ibuprofrin then." That's insane about the Naproxen though! I just took one of those bastard pills. Ha, lyme can cause meningitis too. Lyme seemingly causes every weirdass awful illness in the world. I asked Lauren and she said she hadda get one too to find out if the lymes definitely still there. I'm still so goddamn scared though.
How'd TJ's maybebabymomma abuse public assistance?!
I know, I feel so old! When I told the dr. all the shit that was going on, she was like, "You're 24! These symptoms aren't supposed to be happening in someone your age!"
