I'm sitting at work, eating a pomegranate. I'll put it out there--this has to be the most high-maintenance fruit out there. There's so much work involved in getting the little seeds out, it's a wonder anyone ever bothered to figure out what they tasted like. Since about 96% of the people I know DO have their ears pierced, it would be a safe assumption that I had already done it. Emily did notice it the fastest, though.

And, yes, cheese fires. Like fondue, you know?

i noticed you're listening to I want a hippopotamus for Christmas, which i was JUST listening to. however, my version says it's by "groucho marx." is that weird?

Yes, because it's definitely a young girl singing...and not a guy whose nose and moustache have been made into a novelty item.

Someday I'll have to tell you about our ridiculous research final. It was so absurd I don't even remember it. This was the prof who was on quaaludes the entire time we had the class. Always. With the little dog in the purse. Christ almighty.

Congrats on the piercings! And cheese fires! Aren't you glad you have a bunch of assholes for friends who all call you on typographical errors?! Yes you are :D

Yes, thank you for braving the awkwardness of the telephone for the sake of keeping in touch! I feel like I should have had more crazy awesome updates for you; maybe I should update livejournal less often so I actually have stuff I can tell people about on the phone.

You got your ears pierced? Holy crap! What are you going to pierce next?
