Tsk tsk! ;)

I started taking bug pictures in Europe for Kimberly; now I just do it out of habit. ....and because I like them.

Nah, I'd feel like I was cheating--digital cameras simplify things so much. But thanks! It's just beginner's luck, a steady hand, and a love for beauty. :)

You're leaving me! For a whole year! :(

When I am no longer suffering from sleep deprivation from studio work, I will definitely lavishly waste my impossibly cute Asian stationery on you. :) Gorgeous photos, as always. And I know you'll take great care of yourself in China. Actually, this was a conversation I had with my dad in the car about a fortnight ago:

DAD: Lee Anne is probably the only one of you who can take care of herself abroad.

DORA: [somwhat impishly] I can too!

And then he laughed at me.

Stay in touch!!! Don't get SARS! And don't go to weird places with strangers!

Just kidding ;) Sorta. I love Lee Anne!

Aieeee!!!!! I am entirely too giddy right now; for the FIRST TIME since I arrived here I'm able to access non-Peking-University/majorly screened websites. :D :D :D :D :D

Am now in Beijing, and today, also for the first time since we've arrived, THE SUN WAS VISIBLY OUT AND THE SKY WAS ACTUALLY BLUE.

Will definitely be looking forward to getting something in the mail. It's an entirely different universe here. :)
