well okay, I'm a bit fail at this, but I just learned it. I would have wrote about this had I heard sooner. PLAYZONE 2010 dates have been announced, as well as the cast.

July 2010, Imai Tsubasa, Yara Tomoyuki. A.B.C-Z and others but Let's first compare SHOCK and PLAYZONE schedules.

yeah I just heard about it now *was about to edit*

...oh god. i have nothing against uchi but... can he do the taiko scene? they probably have changed tons about shock. OMG I don't want a SHOCK2010 DVD with Uchi, I wanted to see Yara.

Ah, thinking it that way, I also think PLAYZONE is a great chance for Yara to improve on his career as well as acting, from Yara's point I totally support it. But as a fan of SHOCK, I'm depressed, because I thought Yara's acting was quite perfect. I think he might still be the rival in the future roles- since SHOCK is usually february but yeah...I don't know, I have confused feelings about this. There's Nishikiori and Koichi both in SHOCK so I'm sure they all talked throughoutly about this but didn't Yara talk a lot about being in SHOCK july or was it just me anticipating that? haha.

I hope they do, i hope they filmed the feb&march performances at least.

Ugh Uchi >.< Why?!!?!!

Why couldn't he stay in PZ?!
Please tell me it's not Koichi who decided on this >.< I'll be very disappointed.
I prefer Yara T_T He was doing such a great job as the rival!!!

And yeah... I don't really want a DVD with Uchi >.<
Ugh ugh and ugh again.

So that's why Koichi was having "meetings" about SHOCK and not just rehearsals...

It might be Yara and Nishikiori, more than Koichi. Yara is definitely better than Uchi, that's what I think too :( I imagine the rivalxkoichi scene will change as well as most choreographies, I don't know how good a dancer Uchi is and shock was changed to fit Yaracchi's dancing abilities.

He was having meetings? I was really out of the fandom but this was a shock!bring back nanami back to fandom moment right now. Had I heard earlier, I'd keep bringing rumors in as it went.

I was kind of shocked when I heard this earlier today. I would much rather have Yara than Uchi, and I feel so bad for fans who bought tickets expecting to see him who will now be disappointed. ;_;

To be fair, though, I could be wrong but I get the feeling that this probably isn't the kind of thing he'd have much control over.

no i think he was given the chance to choose between shock and playzone but it was probably with very much direction. Like, "you should choose playzone but do you really want to stay in shock?" or something haha. It's awful. I really think SHOCK just wont be as exciting as it was during winter. on the other hand I don't think playzone shows Yara's abilities to the best. With Tsubasa in PLAYZONE, I think Yara can have a bigger fanbase, being introduced to Tsubasa's but still... I don't know what to feel about it.

I'm just really bummed to lose another MA member in SHOCK after Akki. Although I'm sure Maachin will stay even if he was just a decoration on set.

I'm happy to get news on PZ10 but the date and cast just shocking me!
I thought that they wanna kill Yaracchi but then, the schedule is totally clashed...
Poor those fans who bought the ticket! I wonder why did they do this?
That's absolutely a crazy work...

Yeah, no, it was obvious he couldn't be in both. Unless SHOCK ended early and PZ started in August. But they're both in july with same dates. With Uchi in SHOCK, I don't know what to feel about it. Yara and Koichi's interaction was perfect as rivals so I think SHOCK will go back to being boring. Not that I don't like Uchi, I like him, but he just can't compare to Yaracchi.

Poor fans indeed! I was thinking of going back in january, just for yaracchi but...I'm afraid to go check 2ch ahaha.

we'll see what happens.

UGH. I am really, really disappointed about this. I'm not familiar with Uchi (except for the whole NEWS thing), but is he good enough for SHOCK? Tbh I've been wishing Ohno would play the rival sometime, lol

And I'm with you all the way about the DVD. Is it confirmed that they're making one? With the July performances?

I can't judge much since I haven't seen much, but I must say I was quite impressed with Uchi's performance (or what little was shown of it) in the SCP stage report of Guys&Dolls. His singing's improved, due to practice in stage plays, so in that aspect, I'm sure he'll do fine and I am willing to give him a chance. (Not like I'll get to see this, anyway LMAO)

I do agree with a huge lot of you that said there should be compensation for those who bought tickets thinking they'd get to see Yara. Maybe it was a sudden decision that no one foresaw? I can't see they'd hide that fact from fans buying tickets to SHOCK.

I honestly don't think it's something Koichi decided, or if he did, I don't think it was an easy one, so I don't think there needs to be an outrage over that.. ^^;

P.S. Thanks for the info, Nanami. ^^;
