The Computer Death, Part III (or is it IV?)
Cut for ranting.
Never mind about catching up, I've been fighting with my computer all week. Lavender Gooms (my computer) doesn't appreciate the way I treat her, I don't appreciate the way she DOESN'T FREAKING WORK. It got so bad I had to call Gooms Sr. (VAIO Technical Support). Of course my warranty has expired and the quick fix the guy on the phone gave me did not work. So I have to wait until I get back to New York to take it to the Sony repair center or whatever. Which is SIX DAYS FROM NOW. I'm on my mom's laptop now and I'm already going through withdrawal. While it's nice to have a computer that will stayed plugged in without you holding it, it is mighty annoying not to be signed in anywhere or have any of my bookmarks or the ability to save anything. UUUUUGH.
And by now, I'm so behind on tumblr I might just quit. Luckily, my mom doesn't use her computer much but it will still be too many days without my dear Lavender.
Topping it all off are my allergies. All I do now is blow my nose and sleep. Like every other year, I have to go back to school and gross and snotty.
At least I mostly remember what tabs I had open and already saved the Percy Jackson fic I've been reading to my memories. That is here, by the way, if you are a fan who's read all five books. There are some amazingly talented people in this fandom.
I'm probably going to be pretty absent from the interwebs until I get Lavender back but I'll try to keep up on the news (like what is this crap about Doctor Who being split in two and encroaching on my Merlin viewing?)
But let's not forget the good things: LAST DAY OF WORKING AT THE PARK!
