Glutton for punishment
I think I've got all but one of the Some Assembly Required-related bunnies dealt with and it's probably about time I did something regarding Coup D'Etat. But between Lorne and his traveling circus and the Sumnerverse, it has been a perilously long time since I've written canon characters. And I'd kind of like to rejoin the mainstream for a bit.
So... in the first of what may be a stream of ill-conceived projects for the weekend (because this may be the one where I finally dye my hair and will be the one where I drag out the lawnmower), I will solicit SGA drabbles. For my usual value of drabble, which rates somewhere between 300 and 3000 words. The rules:
1) First five requests only. Because that way I have a chance of getting them done. (on the other hand, this may be an unnecessary limit if two people are interested)
2) Genfic. I devour slash like normal people do, but the reason I don't write it is that I suck at it. Don't torture the porcupine.
3) I haven't seen Allies or Michael yet -- smittywing warned me that they were dishes best served very cold and when everything else in the pantry had already been consumed. I know what happens in them, but...
4) I won't say 'no' to Sumnerverse or Lorne-and-crew, but primary characters preferred.
5) There is no #5
[If the three who watched me spaz with SAR (aliciam, sevenall, and smittywing) want to make requests, they don't count toward the cap.]
Elsewhere, I'm starting to get very intrigued by artword. I... don't collaborate well (stop laughing) and know better than to co-author with anyone -- certainly not with anyone I like. But this is sort of an independent semi-collaboration and has produced some fantastic work. I don't know how well my genfic tendencies would adapt, though, where the odds are that my partner's first impulse would be slashy.
