Daphne shut her laptop and hopped down from her bed. She grabbed a gray cardigan and threw it over her navy blue polo. She snatched a few random necessities and stuffed them into the pockets of her jeans. Slipping on her brown ballet flats, she headed out the door of her dorm room and headed for the dining hall.
"Cessy!" she called with a smile on her face as she saw her making her way toward the door to the hall.
Cecilia had spent most of her day cleaning. Wilhelmina had refused Cecilia her house elf for her time at Painswick. Uptight wench. But, to be honest, it made the girl much more aware of her surroundings - and she found herself to be a real neat freak. Though she was much more the former than the latter.
At the sound of her name being called, Cecilia looked over to the entrance.
"How are you?" she asked, giving her friend a hug. "How is it we haven't crossed paths hardly at all, this year?"
Daphne had overloaded herself with classes in order to force herself to make a decision on what she'd like to spend her life doing. It, so far, has completely backfired and thanks to all of this unnecessary stress, she is considering spending her life simply marrying rich old men and waiting for them to die.
To be honest, I haven't really been impressed with the parties around here. My dresses are far too nice, comparitively. I actually feel a little guilty looking so much nicer than everyone.

She hadn't talked to Daphne properly in ages.
"Hello, darling!"

Shortly after that, I thought you should probably find a party. I'm sure there is one out there at this time.
