Leaving early rarely happened for Cuddy. Leaving in the middle of the day never happened. Something had irked Cuddy so strongly, hit her like shit hitting the fan that had all but forced her to leave. Cuddy hadn't known where to go though, and home hadn't been an option. The call had actually surprised him.

He didn't expected to hear much about Lisa. She was a proffesional woman, soon to be a mother and he knew he wasn't the type that kind of woman usually looked for. And to be fair Shawn was't much into mothers either, it somehow felt wrong to him. And that was probably the reason why he decided to keep things "family friendly".

He had given her directions to meet him on the "Psych" office and spent the whole day re arranging the place to make it look a little more "stylish", though, still keeping his personal taste. He knew Lisa would like it.

She was supposed to arrieve at any minute now. He looked at himself in the mirror and adjusted the nice designer shirt and jeans he had bought just for this date. After getting sure everythig was on it's place, he droppped himself on the couch and waited for her.

The call to Shawn had been short but Cuddy hadn't known what to say, her brain was too addled and starting to get confused again. She'd barely been able to think when Becca had told her that she wasn't giving her the baby; confused about why and more confused when House kissed her and left without reason. The drive had allowed Cuddy to try and clear her mind which helped, the occasional thought drifting back in; no matter how hard she tried to keep them away Cuddy couldn't, she couldn't properly distract herself ( ... )

He jumped up from the couch when he heard the car parking on the outside of the building, so, when she made eher way into the office he was already sitting on his desk, pretending to be finishing the huge pile of paperwork Gus had been working on for the last couple of days.

Leaving the pen to a side he smiled widely at Cuddy. "Lisa! It's so good to see you!"

"You too Shawn." Lisa smiled a little, finishing her curious glances around the office to step further in, peering curiously at the papers that he'd been working on. "Busy day?"
