Ok, so I slept with Mark. (Side note to Fraz: bet I lasted longer than you thought, huh punk? :-P) And it was wonderful, and I have no regrets. We've been seeing each other every day. He's introduced me to his friends and family, and he's met my family and a few of my friends as well. We go to the grocery store together to pick out food to ( Read more... )

Because I am in the same boat, I am crazy happy for you feeling good about yourself (and by extension, your weight loss). I've been feeling great as well, although it's been my experience that I should be careful about the people with whom I discuss my new trim self because sometimes the wrong people can be more critical than congratulatory ( ... )

Congrats on the 30 pounds. Be careful however. When you eat that little you run the risk of causing your body to preserve its energy resources. This will cause it to actually not burn fat but lean muscle mass instead causing rapid weight loss, along with a shift in the ph of your blood which can kill you. Not trying to scare you, I just find you interesting and would be sad if something happened. You may want to eat more salads and fruits. Those will be more filling.

Well, like I said, a lot of it hasn't been intentional -- it was mainly because I've been poor and I couldn't stand eating any more Ramen! Now that I've got a bit more money coming in, though, I'm trying to eat healthier things so I can avoid gaining weight but still be nutritionally sound. Thanks for your concern, and I'm glad you find me interesting! Likewise. :)

Losing that much weight in such a short period of time is not very good for your body. At all. Be careful, okay?

It actually hasn't been a very short period of time. The weight loss has been going on for about two months, which means I've lost fifteen pounds per month. Break that down further and you'll see it's just a little less than four pounds per week. Nutritionists say that as long as you're not losing more than five pounds a week, you're doing okay. Thanks for your concern, though, I am being careful. :)

You seem to think I have a rather low opinion of you. Curious.
