Sorry I'm not more knowledgeable, although I applaud your decision to either vivify your own hair, or sneak it into someone else's shampoo to recruit them.
I've been wondering about the caca range of hennas from Lush, but it's not a shampoo so much as a tea brick of solid henna, and I'll have to wait until my bleach grows out (when I'll go for the brown/black variety). xxxlibris? I don't know if she's dabbled.
I'm not sure whether I want to go for full on henna yet, but I will probably end up there in the end (when I discover that all the colour shampoos don't work, even the ones with parabens etc. in them). I've been using this ethical stuff made by JASON - totally useless, doesn't do a thing, and is so thick and tacky that I don't think it washes properly either. But I bought a massive bottle so I have to finish it.
