Lilith's been a complete love ever since I brought her home, and pretty much all the things I was worried about happening haven't been a problem at all. I was worried she'd get herself into trouble while I was at work, but everything in the apartment seems to be fine when I come home. I was worried she wouldn't like the food I got her, but apart from some reluctance on that first day, she's been scarfing it down and coming over to demand seconds. I was worried she'd be messy or wouldn't want to use the litterbox, but she's been very tidy and has used the box without fail. I was worried that my allergies would be a problem, but I haven't had any reactions that a claritin before bed hasn't been able to solve. And Lilith seems to be very much at home, eager to cuddle and to play, rolling around on the floor, purring like a little black and white Maserati. I feel very, very lucky to have found a cat who fits into my life so well, and who seems quite contented to be there. I hope the honeymoon phase continues for as long as possible.
Also, a question for you fellow cat-lovers: I've noticed that when Lilith and I play, she doesn't use her claws on me, even when she does that 'I grab your hand with my front paws and kick it with my back paws' thing. The other cats I've played that game with have all been male, and I usually end up with lots of little nicks and scratches that, thanks to my allergies, swell up like bee stings. Is keeping the claws in something that all girl cats do, or is my cat just dainty like that? XD
Also, I finished Mass Effect 2! Well, I shouldn't say finished, cos I'm sure I'll play more of it (gotta see what Renegade is like, and explore different romance options, and different classes, and and and) but I did finish my first playthrough. No spoilers, but through the whole final mission I was like O_O and then I was like O_____O and then I was like ;____; and then TT^TT and then -___-; and then I went :DDDDDDDDD and finally t(-_-t) (to Martin Sheen, not to the game).
