Some interesting ones there. Most interesting one for me was "liking my course". I've forgotten what that felt like.

Might come to your house-warming, provided you come to mine in Leeds!

tell me about it. Sad isn't it? Never mind though eh? Went to see Martin the other day and we literally had nothing to say to eachother. Thats pretty gutting.

I will endeavour to come to your party in Leeds if I am invited!

Hay bale parties - voltage! I've got photos.

I miss sitting up in the library mezzanine with you and writing and reading to each other.

getting Hee-J to do my make-up.

Dressing up and knowing that everyone else'll have put in just as much effort.

How's being bretton officer suiting you?

Being Bretton Officer... miss_baggins September 25 2005, 10:30:47 UTC
...is fun. Very fun actually. I'm currently knackered after this week but its been such a laugh and the Freshers are ace! I'm totally jealous of all the people living on campus (which I never thought would happen) that is, until I get home to my lovely house and remember that I havce a lounge and a kitchen and I can go for days without anyone knocking on my door!

How is leeds, and real graduate life??

real graduate life? nope. i'd say this is more gap year. it's alright. Good house, good people, crappy job, you know. Feeling less important, less determined, less goalistic. Leeds is a beautiful city, but the people make it ugly. Too many people in too much of a hurry, taking too many liberties, wanting everything for themselves. But there is always the glimmer of hope.

I just need to start DOING things.

i can imagine the house feels strange after the last three years, but that feeling of security and comfort etc is worth every penny. Our house is pretty expensive but we can and have painted our rooms and it's starting to look like a home. Strange. Really miss Newcastle though. I have the feeling I won't be staying in Leeds much longer.

My little bro passed his driving test and my sister's going to Australia and my big brother is turning 32 and Lynne is moving and getting married in America and well, it's all about growing up now and getting older.

Wow.

Tori, to be fair, you've always been a bit like that and before you know it you'll be in a better place, mentally I mean rather than not in Leeds. Just do what you want, follow your dreams man, its so simple!!

Lynne is getting married? wow. Thats pretty heavy stuff. I can completely sympathise with how you feel on that - Phil had a baby - another person is now part of the equasion and her life is changed forever. Its pretty mad when you think about it but Lynne is still going to be Lynne and you will still be as close as ever if you want it.

Don't worry Tori, you're young, healthy (cliche) and a dreamer...the wosrt thing I can imagine for you is that you'd find yourself in a place where you were utterly satisfied - that would always mean something was wrong! Us idealists and dreamers will never be satisfied but that is the reason we always push harder and strive for more and can look back our lives and be the ones that did the most!

Stress not my poetic princess....

Hx

P.S. I like the picture
