update!!

Rosin's got me running around all over the place! Breastfeeding has been a pain. literally! She's got a high pallet, and is a tongue thruster. Which means she has a hard time latching on to eat. She destroyed my nipples! which made feeding her very painful! i had to go see a lactation consultant monday, which told me i have an infection ( Read more... )

She's so cute! Hooray for healthy babies!! Good luck with the mastitis... *crosses fingers*

If the colicky symptoms arose after you started with the antibiotics, she could be having a mild reaction; gas and upset tummy aren't too uncommon in babies eating breastmilk from mothers being treated with antibiotics. It shouldn't last any longer than the course of treatment, and unless she develops other symptoms like rashes or change in skin tone, it isn't really anything to worry about.
