Jo stays with Inara and tells Wash to go back to Zoe. Although they had that crazy summer fling in flight school, it would never work out because Jo wants a life of travel and adventure and eventually Wash would like to settle down and have a quiet life.
3) Seven has a phobia that involves One. What is the phobia?
Mal is creepified ny Dean's eating habits and how much food Dean can stuff in his mouth. *shudders*
4) Nine and Twelve are having a movie marathon night. What movie does Nine pick and what movie does Twelve pick? Is twelve happy with Nine's pick and vice versa?
They both like war movies and westerns. They're a perfect match, movie-wise.
5) Ten is in an unhappy relationship with Four and realizes that he/she should be with Two instead.
Clearly, Jess is only with Simon because he reminds her of Sam and she was rebounding from River. It was doomed from the beginning. Jess knew it, but she was feeling lonely out in the black. Plus, Simon has this way of hooking up with women that excite him in the short-term *cough*Kaylee*cough* in order to keep him succumbing to those vibes with River, but really he's meant from a lady like Inara. She understands his desire for civilization and he respects her.
6) Three is pregnant with Nine's baby. How does Five react?
Jo is boggled by the thought of how such a thing could happen and can barely keep herself from asking, but does refrain trusting that Dean will be totally inappropriate and ask for her.

He has moments of selfishness, general cluelessness that inhibit his ability to be fair to his partner, but at the end of the day he usually comes around to the right way of thinking and does right by his partner. He'll make Sam a good husband.

Mrs. Cobb sends Jayne a letter telling him that 'he ought to get around to asking that fine girl to marry him before she catches a lick of sense and finds a better man, not that there is a better man in the verse than her son,' but this letter works and Jayne sets out a cunning plan to ask Inara to marry him that involves a romantic dinner, poetry, and Vera.
However, by this point, Inara has so exhausted herself trying to get Jayne to marry her that she's sadly fallen out of love with Jayne and realized that she's crazy for Jo. Sadly, Jo seems more interested in Dean. Still, Inara knows that it's only fair that she break up with Jayne.
12) Nine wants to end his/her relationship with Five. How does Nine choose to do so? Heartbroken Five has a one night stand with Three.
Sam just comes out and says it. He knows that Jo has a huge crush on Dean and is only with him because she can't have Dean. He's tired of playing second best to his brother. Jo, angry that Sam would say that to her, takes revenge by sleeping with Sam's baby's mama, Jayne. After this, Jo realizes that she's done with the menfolk and sets up house with Inara.

Hm, I hate to think of Zoe being alone forever after Wash's death, but I do believe that the love they had was very special and that she's the kind of woman who would love that way only once in her life. I think that there could be other relationships, certainly sexual ones that will fill that physical need and maybe a few others that will fill a need for some companionship, and she'll always have that close bond of friendship with Mal, but the relationships will all end at a certain point where Zoe won't let that person in any further because she'll only have had one husband and he's dead.
14) If there was one thing Seven could change about their life what would it be?
Mal regrets his loss of faith in principles and ideals. Although he thinks that being disillusioned has made him into a smarter man, a less easily fooled one, he regrets it.

It's not really that they're rivals, but after the mess with River, including her stupid decision to fall back into River's 'love web' while River was with Kaylee (even though the sex was awesome), Mal just seemed to become this symbol of all the fucked up shit that Jess has been through since she was pinned to that ceiling and came to find herself a couple hundred years in the future. Jess secretly think she might be falling for the Capt., but has promised herself that she would stop falling into relationship after relationship to help deal with her predicament and just spend some time by herself so she can figure out her next step in life. It's a big verse and being on Serenity has been a help, in a way, but she really needs to figure out her new life. Maybe go back to school? Open a bar? Or just committ herself to this life of thievery? Something.

Yup. Dean could take being second in Zoe's heart because Zoe could never really be first in Dean's heart either. They have an understanding about each other.
