Whoa, I've been slack about updating. I'm not sure that anyone actually cares, but I've still been slack.

♣ Ajisen Ramen and Morning Glory are both shops of awesome, and I adore them. I bought a lot of very awesome stationary for an even more awesome price, and had a bowl of particularly amazing ramen (which incorporated gyoza. WIN.). MG was also ( Read more... )

I profoundly hope so. I just really want it to work. I have never really had a big-ish party, I just want everybody to get along and have a good time.

And thankyou, it was time for a change.

I acknowledge some of the stuff is a bit kitschy, but I adore it. I mean, $10 stationary packs full of notebooks and other excellent stuff. XD

I am a complete notebook whore. :p I love them.

Ffff- I don't think the store here does the stationary packs so it's... less value. XD. Plus~ too much pink. I find it scary.

I'm insane for stationary though- just ask the local officeworks~

I knoooow. I wish they'd come to Australia. They'd be so amazing live. The only band I really love who I've seen live is Nightwish. And that was AWESOME.

Mine's 6 days away (XDDD), but I'm having the party a couple of weeks after my actual birthday. I had no idea how to celebrate either, I'll let you know after whether or not the party was a good idea. :p

Advice with the party- find something to do. Srs. If there's alcohol there and nothing to do, everyone'll just end up drinking and end up off their face drunk. It's something about expectations that an 18th is about getting shitfaced.

I'm hoping it won't be too bad because I'm having it at a pub, so people won't be able to do that thing they do whereby they start drinking vodka straight or doing five tequila shots in fifteen minutes and whatnot. Plus my friends are mostly ok, there are only a couple who I'm a bit worried about and, look, if they get trashed I'll shove them in a taxi and send them home. :p

And yeah, I know that's the expectation. I am, however, hoping to personally break with tradition. Been there. Done that. It wasn't fun.

Ooh I've been meaning to buy The Black Symphony for ages, but never seem to get around to it :/ Maybe for christmas, yeah? :P And you are so right - Sharon has a breathtaking voice!
And good luck with the upcoming party. As long as everyone has at least one or two others they know there I'm sure it won't be any problems:P Can't promise anything about the alcohol level though xD

Oh yeah, I would recommend it as a christmas gift. I haven't watched the DVD yet, but I can't wait. Should be epic. I listened to the CDs and they're just amazing live. I find there are very few bands who live up to my expectations live.

Thankyou. :D I think most people know at least a couple of other people, it's just I'm combining several groups of friends and I don't know how that's going to go.

Tehe, hopefully they won't be *too* bad. However, me saying that makes me a massive hypocrite, because I've had one or two messy nights here and there. However, it's my birthday so obviously nobody can do to me what I've done to them. :p And I've never been trashed at someone's birthday...oh wait...*shifty eyes*

I will most definitely add it to my wish list :D

Since alchol is like a social lubricant, I don't think you need to worry much:P And uhm right, noone gets drunk at a birthday party.....good luck with that xD

lol, you're so reassuring. :p But yes, hopefully the alcohol will make everyone like each other a bit more...though not too much, because that could lead to a whole world of new and different problems.
