I keep PLANNING to do this Percy Jackson post but I suck at writing these sort of things anymore. ANYWAY, I just did a big re-read and I was liking the little detail of the occasional historical/famous figure being a demigod and I wanted to think of some clever secretly a demigod folks. Well, I know Percy is supposed to be the only son of Poseidon, but I'm thinking James Cameron might qualify. :)

Steve Jobs is Greek because he had all kinds of philosophical ideas about technology. Bill Gates is Roman because Microsoft is a giant war machine. Also, Greek is harder than Latin and I find Apple products more difficult than PCs.

Hephaestus is Greek, and Vulcan is Roman.

I haven't read the Percy Jackson books, so I'm going by the personalities of the mythologies. Maybe Amelia Erhart was Aries daughter, and I suspect this is out there, but Beethoven could have been the son of Apollo. I can't think of who would live among us now, though.
