Um...a little belated, but I really like this story! Very sweet and touching. I take it you went with Sam getting hit by the car to save Brooke? It seems to be a fifty-fifty split as to who got hit.

Oh, and I just looked at the date: that is before I'd found the group, LOL. So that's my excuse for not commenting sooner :). But great story!

Aww, thanks! Lol, yeah... actually, before I watched the DVDs I'd read so much Aeryn Sun stuff I thought Sam HAD gotten hit in the series, but... though I'm a big fan of JALI (Just a Little Insight), and various other fics where Brooke gets hit, I think Brooke needs more of a smack on the head to get with her feelings for Sam, so my fic usually ends up that way... the way where... uh, Sam gets hit, I mean... ;P

Heh, oh, okay, that makes sense :D

Thank you again! And thanks for going and finding it! Lol

No, I'm totally with you. That was my own bizarre 'Bram ' upbringing as well. I started out reading fics (Aeryn Sun's)-and then went to the show. So when I finally watched the show, I was like: 'where's the angst?'.

I eventually gravitated to Green Quarter and Janine because their sensibilities seem to match the show better. But, yeah, its hard to escape that early influence.

I haven't read JALI. I'll have to check it out.

Oh-thanks for friending me back, BTW!

Thanks so much for commenting!

Haha, yeah, Bram's pretty great. I bought the show a couple of summers ago actually, I hadn't watched it before that... And I've always meant to write longer Bram but never really had the motivation :) How did you find my journal, anyways? Haha, no one's looked over this stuff in forever!

I found your it because you left a comment on one of my posts, the one with Serena and Blair being Romeo & Juliet. And I am creepy I guess and went to look at your journal lol. I only recently started to write GG fanfiction.

I would encourage you to write more! People can't read your stuff if you don't update.

Ooh, awesome! I remember that photo! Haha, and no, that doesn't make you creepy at all :) It'd be creepy if I met you IRL and you stalked me on facebook, but this is the internet :) It's just a click away! I totally have to read your story, haha... I'm just slightly reluctant cause, you know, Romeo and Juliet didn't have a happy ending and I'm a sucker for those ( ... )

Ha that is funny because I have been wary about getting to the ending of the story because I know how it ends. I may have to fudge it a little. Well maybe a lot. Or write different variations of the ending to satisfy myself and Bill Shakespeare lol. I am a sucker for a happy ending too!

I have not been to bleighton_squee yet but thank you for the suggestion. I will definitely go and check that out.

Wow a novel. Not a novel three novels! That is so awesome. I wish I had that kind of dedication. I can see why writing fanfiction has taken a back seat. Well the best of luck to you on your endeavor. And I think if you can write a novel you can handle a longer fic lol!

Haha, I like the different endings thing :) Over at rachel_quinn people have been doing that a lot for angsty fics... I read one in which the happy ending worked better than the angst one and didn't feel like a cop out, but if you write two people don't care it's a cop out, they're just relieved there was a happy ending ( ... )

Well I think it is really awesome you are writing novels. I am sure it is a difficult industry to crack. I understand completely because I want to be an artist or do art in my career some way. There is a lot of competition though so I get the live off it or starve thing lol. And your future is more important than than writing fanfiction, which is why I am taking so long to update.

I really really want to update, but I can never find the time. It has become frustrating. So much work so little time. Slow and steady wins the race thought, right?

Peace

Haha, thanks! Yeah, it is, or so I've heard... just for me the thing is I don't plan on doing anything else. That's really cool! And haha, yeah... well I'm also planning to go into editing, so hopefully I won't really starve, but... there are a lot of cool things you can do with art, though! Like, graphic design, uhm... I know more... I just totally forgot xD

Haha, yeah, future definitely is more important... it makes me so happy when people update quickly but I can't even conceive of having all of that spare time to make awesome for people like me who plan to make a living off the type of prose they just... give to the internet :) Not that it's a bad thing xD I love fic... lol, confusing values.

It definitely does, lol. And at least you plan on updating ;) I have two unfinished stories on ff.net from when I was like... well, they were posted at least 5 years ago, so... Slow and steady does win the race! Haha, until you lose the thread of your plot, which has happened to me... I guess that just requires rereading then :)

Yeah it helps to update when people are asking for it. Cause then you know it is not all in vain and that someone out there is reading it. But I also have a very short attention span so when I start a story, I may lose interest and then it will take me a while to get back into it.

I am sure none of us will starve. Worst case scenario, I end up living at my parents house for the rest of my life. *shudder* I am actually hoping to get an internship over the summer at a graphic design studio which will be some awesome life experience.

Maybe if you reread your stories it will spark your interest again. I know I have done that and then been really annoyed when the story is not complete. I am like what jerk started this and then didn't finish. And then it is like oh me... lol

Yeah, definitely... having people read the stuff you post is like, the best feeling ever so even though it's annoying and takes time I try to comment on everything I look at now. And lmao, I do that all the time! Not for novels, but like, shorter original story projects for a friend of mine... she's been waiting on one to be finished for a couple months now and I'm only a couple of thousand words off too ( ... )
