My 2008 and some other shite
Wow. This year has flown in. I can't really remember a whole lot which is a shame, I used to write in this thing everyday. That's going to be another resolution - write here everyday. Even if it's just a list of what I've done :)
Anyway,
January.
Me and Jamie went skiing over new year and it was ace. We went to a wee place in Italy called Sauxe D'oulx. Skiing the first few days was icey and not that nice but the last few days were immense. If we'd gone the week after ours we would have had perfect conditions the whole time. Erm, the drive down to Manchester was horrible. Jamies ma drives at about 50 on the motorway and on the way back it was snowing so that was reduced to 30 the whole friggin way back to mine.
February.
No idea. My brother crashed mums polo.
March.
I had my ECA interview. Blood test and an x-ray to find out what was up with my hand. Turned out to be low blood pressure.
April.
I got rejected from ECA. Their loss. I applied to Dundee. I worked a lot.
May.
Jamie broke up with me.
My work was nominated for Best Hotel at the CIS awards. We didn't win. I got wasted and went clubbing in a 180 quid dress.
June.
June 29th - some theiving gimp at my work stole my wages from my bag. Good thing they didn't realise that my bag is worth about 4 times what they stole. I would have hanged myself.
July.
I really don't know. I'm guessing I worked a lot and drank a lot.
August.
Well, on the 1st of August I ventured to London. And it was brilliant. Most of my day were spent travelling about on the tube and most of my nights were spent drunk! Woo. I spent far too much money but hell, whats the point in working if you're not gonna spend your cash!
Got into Galashiels.
Turned 22, we went to Grand Cru in Edinburgh and had a 400 quid bar tab. The taxi home almost cost the same. Git.
Went to Go Ape.
September.
Started uni.
I did a bad thing.
October.
October was filled to the brink with guy troubles, going out and spending too much bloody money. Awesome. Someone told me "if guys knew how lucky they were to have you they wouldnt mess you about!" It made my week.
I was doing knit at uni and I'm pretty certain thats what I'm gonna take, print was a joke.
I worked a hell of a lot.
Jason and Iain had a leaving night in Glasgow. It was a good night.
Novemeber.
I didn't write a single entry last month so I'm not sure what I go up to really. Haha. I was doing print at uni, its shite. I lost the weight I put on since summer. Went back to horse riding on a Wednesday night.
Decemeber.
I don't think I could ask for better friends.
Party nights at work! I've now been moved to the bar so me and my brother can get the same shifts. I think I prefer it and tips help.
Uni finished for christmas and I'm stressing because I didn't hand in a piece for knit.
I have glandular fever and feel like death.
I like a guy that I know is trouble.
I read all off the books after 'Twilight' in about 4 days. I went to see the film.
We went out on Christmas eve. It was great :)
So to round it all off. This years been pretty good. It's flown in aswell which is probably a good thing. Next year I'm going to work harder and save more money. I've stopped drinking aswell which isn't so bad. It means I can remember the whole night and help people fill in the gaps haha. I'm enjoying work and uni which is surprising, I've got the fear about going into second year after summer. With me, things last a year then I move on. Ha. I wont panic!!
