Since yesterday half of my face has succumbed to whatever curse those birds inflict, and one of these latest evolutions has hit me in the leg. I can't bend my knee which makes walking difficult, but I dare not switch forms for fear of where it might transfer to instead. It doesn't seem to be spreading as fast as it has for other people... Perhaps

[By the Heavens, Blacky, you are dark. Marth's not even sure what to say anymore. Who knows how many people are actually still alive and working by now. He imagines the number of responses to Blacky's post will make that quite a bit noted.]

I have managed to defend myself without suffering. It would seem that... they are evolving into something greater. My sword is no longer capable of holding them back. I am at a loss as to what we should do.

This may be a losing battle for us.

That is likely not a bad idea, Miss. I am unsure of how probable that is to occur at this point.

Logically, as time progresses, the number of people who are turned to stone will lose the attention of the birds. The feathered companions will then turn their attention onto those who are not yet stoned. Perhaps if it were three or four, they could be fended off more easily. At this rate, they will clamour about us.

I imagine it is possible to evacuate, but not without using others as diversions while the remaining majority claims their escape.

I don't see why those of us who have begun a transformation but can still move can't be the ones to distract the birds.

I thought the legends say you three bestowed your gifts on humans anyway. What sort of Pokemon are you, favouring them over your own kind?
